• Visa applications are accepted by appointment only.
• Visas are generally issued the same day. Visas can be picked up on the day of the interview or any subsequent business day between 3:00PM and 3:30PM on the mezzanine level. Detailed instructions are printed on the passport claim ticket.

Consulate Access
All visitors must identify themselves to a security guard in the main-floor lobby of the Rocky Mountain Plaza Building in order to gain access to the Consulate. Please bring valid picture ID with you.
U.S. Visa Applications
Please note the following persons may accompany a visa applicant during Consular-related visits:
• Interpreter: Applicants may bring ONE interpreter if they do not speak English well enough to participate in an interview.
• Special Needs Visitors: Applicants may bring ONE person to help if they are elderly, disabled, or if the applicant is a minor child applying for a visa.
• Attorney: Attorneys will NOT be permitted to accompany clients into the waiting room or at their interviews.
• U.S. Citizens: One American citizen may accompany an applicant.
Due to waiting room size, the large volume of applicants and the time required to screen consular clients, other accompanying persons cannot be admitted to the waiting room. Drivers, friends, extra relatives must wait outside or return to meet the applicant after the interview has been completed.

Please note the following persons may accompany a visa applicant during Consular-related visits:
• The fee for a non-immigrant visa must be paid at any Ontario branch of ScotiaBank. Bring along the receipt you receive from the bank.
• This office is open weekdays from 8:15AM to 3PM – except Wednesdays when the office closes at 11AM.
• All non immigrant visa applicants must obtain an appointment for an interview.
• Approved visas, in most cases, will be ready for pick up at 3PM the next business day.
• Certain applications may require more lengthy processing.

• Certain applications may require processing of one month or longer and all applicants, even repeat travelers, are encouraged to apply four to six weeks before any anticipated travel.
